Tarasova said that the Canadian champions of the Olympic Games will not suffer because of the ban on entry into the Russian Federation
Honored coach of the USSR in figure skating Tatyana Tarasova appreciated the ban on Canadian Olympic champions Megan Duhamel and Tessa Virtue from entering the Russian Federation. Her words leads the “Championship”.
“Are they going to come directly to us in Russia? I don’t think so. Have they ever been here? No. I doubt that they will suffer because they were banned from entering Russia,” Tarasova said.
Earlier it became known that Duhamel and Virtue were included in the list of 333 Canadian citizens who are prohibited from entering Russia. The decision was made by the Russian Foreign Ministry in response to the sanctions of the Canadian side.
Tessa Virtue is a three-time Olympic champion in ice dancing. The same number of times she won the gold of the World Championship. Megan Duhamel in pair skating took one gold at the Olympic Games and became the world champion twice
