The second half started with a nightmare for Chelsea. Full-back Chilwell committed a foul to stop a counter-attack led by Rodrygo and was sent off straight. With one less, the English team was even more pressured by Real, who calmly controlled the final stage.

Shortly after entering the field, Marco Asensio kicked low at Kepa’s corner and increased the score at 28, with an assist from Vinícius Júnior.
