Andrey Martemyanov left the post of head coach of the hockey club “Siberia”. This was announced on the team’s website.
The Novosibirsk team decided not to renew the contract with the specialist, which will end on April 30. “I would like to thank the club management for entrusting the team. I wish them progress, good matches and results,” said Martemyanov.
Martemyanov worked at the club for two seasons. Under his leadership, the team twice took sixth place in the Eastern Conference of the Continental Hockey League (KHL) and was eliminated after the first round of the playoff series.
Earlier it became known about the change of head coaches in Metallurg and Dynamo Minsk. After the dismissal of Ilya Vorobyov, the Magnitogorsk club was headed by Andrey Razin. In the Belarusian team, Dmitry Kvartalnov replaced the Canadian Craig Woodcroft.
