Earlier, RBC reported that Kostomarov’s condition continues to improve, and he will be discharged from intensive care in the next two months. It is noted that the skater is gradually starting to return to normal life.
Kostomarov was hospitalized on 10 January. He was diagnosed with left-sided pneumonia in combination with influenza B. According to Moskovsky Komsomolets, the skater was amputated with both feet, then the shins of both legs, the entire right hand, and several fingers of the left hand.
