A mess in the this Sunday’s derby between Liverpool and Arsenal will be the subject of research in English football. That’s because footage showed an exchange of aggression between Andy Robertson, of the Reds, and assistant referee Constantine Hatzidakis.
The problem started at the end of the first half. Footage shows that Robertson walked towards the assistant and apparently gave a slight push with his arm. Constantine Hatzidakis responded by elbowing the player.

The Premier League Commission (PGMOL) is looking into the case and reported that it is “aware of an incident involving assistant referee Constantine Hatzidakis and Liverpool defender Andrew Robertson at half-time during the Liverpool v Arsenal game at Anfield”. The agency added that it would “review the matter in its entirety”.
The clash between the giants of English football ended in a 2-2 draw. Leader Arsenal opened 2-0 on the scoreboard, but saw Liverpool’s reaction.
