Inter Milan takes goal at the end and draws with Salernitana by Paulo Sousa for the Italian Championship

Earlier this Friday afternoon, Inter Milan visited Salernitana away from home, opening the 29th round of the Italian Championship. Gosens opened the scoring for the Nerazzurri and Candreva scored for the team led by Paulo Sousa in stoppage time to equalize.

First time

The winning goal came early in the match. After a long launch from the defense to the attack, Romelu Lukaku won the dispute at the top and the ball was left at the edge of the area for Robin Gosens. At first, the German winger kicked and opened the scoring in the sixth minute.

Lukaku had the chance to expand in the first half, but the Mexican goalkeeper Guilhermo Ochoa shone. The Belgian striker kicked in with his right leg and forced Ochoa to stretch to save the ball in the corner.

Second time

Inter Milan coach Simone Inzaghi chose an alternate team in the starting lineup and fielded the team’s best players during the second half. However, even with the starters on the field, the team from the Italian capital was under pressure from Salernitana.

A few seconds after the clock marked 45 minutes of the second stage, Antonio Candreva tried to cross in the area and the ball ended up falling into the goalkeeper Onana’s net. The Italian has already worn the shirt of Inter for four seasons and decreed the draw against his former team.

51 points in the Italian Championship

The result prevents Inter from overtaking the rival Milan in the table and may lose fourth place at the end of the A league. Simone Inzaghi’s team has not won for six games and faces the Benfica next Tuesday, for the quarterfinals of the Champions League.
