Bidasoa Irun won the victory against Helvetia Anaitasuna by 27-31 this Wednesday, April 5, during his visit to the field of the Navarrese team and was awarded the basque derby corresponding to the 23rd day of the Asobal League.

At the start of the match, Anaitasuna beat Bidasoa Irun and the Navarrese team achieved a two-goal lead (4-2). The local team maintained that income until the 20th minute (11-9)but in minute 25 Bidasoa Irun tied the game at twelve (12-12) on the scoreboard. In the final stretch of the first half, Bidasoa Irun was superior and the Gipuzkoan team went to rest with a favorable result of 13-17.

At the restart, Anaitasuna managed to cut their deficit to two goals (17-19)but for the 45th minute Bidasoa Irun returned to obtain four rental goals (19-23).

With ten minutes to go before the end of the match, Anaitasuna returned to three goals behind Bidasoa Irun, but in the last stretch of the game the Irun team stood firm and took the win (27-31).
