Wednesday’s activities Manchester City got a big boost. Striker Erling Haaland returned to training on the field with the rest of the squad after recovering from a groin injury, suffered on March 18 against Burnley, in a duel for the FA Cup.
With the return of the 22-year-old athlete, it is likely that coach Pep Guardiola will again list his top scorer in Saturday’s match against Southampton. The Norwegian lost the club’s last game, against Liverpool, in addition to not having defended his selection in the last FIFA date.

Haaland’s recovery comes less than a week after the clash against Bayern Munich, in the quarterfinals of the Champions League. The Manchester team will face the Germans on Tuesday (11), at home.
In his last match in the tournament, the number 9 scored five times against Leipzig and equaled the record of Messi and Luiz Adriano, becoming one of the players who scored the most goals in a single game in the continental competition.
Hired in mid-2022, Haaland had no major difficulties adapting to English football. In the Premier League alone, the center forward has 28 goals and five assists in just 26 appearances.
