Trainer Svetlana Butova said that the “tree pose” strengthens the hamstrings
Fitness trainer Svetlana Butova called the secret of “tree pose” for healthy knees. Her words are quoted by Sport-Express.
The trainer explained that to perform the exercise, you need to stand on both legs, then transfer the body weight to the right leg, and put the left leg on the toe, bending at the knee. Then you need to raise the foot of the bent leg, place it on the inner surface of the thigh of the right leg and raise your hands, joining your palms above your head. Then you need to change the position by doing the same with the support on the left leg.
Butova said that the exercise teaches balance and improves the nervous system, as patience and concentration have a positive effect on the nervous system. In addition, the pose strengthens the lower body, in particular the inner thighs and hamstrings.
Previously, Butova called effective exercises to get rid of cellulite. The expert advised doing lunges, glute bridges and spring squats.
