De Bruyne tests positive for covid and will be out of the game with PSG

Manchester City coach Pep Guardiola revealed this Friday at a news conference that Kevin De Bruyne had tested positive for covid. The player was employed by the Belgian national team on FIFA Date and will have to be away for ten days.

“Unfortunately Kevin has tested positive for covid in Belgium and needs ten days,” Guardiola told the press conference.

With that, the midfielder will be out of the confrontation of the English team against Paris Saint-Germain, for the fifth round of the group stage of the Champions League. The match will be next Wednesday, at 5 pm (GMT), in England.

In addition to the confrontation with PSG, De Bruyne will be embezzled this Sunday, when Manchester City duels with Everton, for the English Championship, at 11:00 am (GMT). Against West Ham, on the 28th of this month, the Belgian must still be out.
