This Tuesday, the chelsea received the Liverpool in a delayed match for the eighth round of the Premier League and drew 0-0.
With the result, the Blues remain in 11th place, with 39 points, and lose the chance to enter the top half of the Premier League table. Meanwhile, Liverpool move up to eighth position and now have 43 points, seven behind the G5, which starts at Manchester United.
Chelsea’s next commitment for the Premier League is against Wolverhampton on Saturday, at 11 am (Brasília time), away from home. Liverpool, on the other hand, faces the leader Arsenal, also on Saturday, at 12:30 pm, within their domains.

The game
Chelsea were the first to scare, when Kovacic dribbled past Alisson in the fifth minute, but was stopped by Konaté, who cleared the danger from inside the small area. During the entire first half, the Blues were the best team and dominated the actions on the field, while Liverpool retreated and saw the opponent enter their area with ease.
At 23, Chelsea scored with Reece James, but the linesman was offside in the bid that led to the goal, which was confirmed in the VAR review. In the final stretch of the first half, Liverpool grew and had good opportunities to open the scoring, but the 0-0 remained on the way to the changing rooms.
On the way back from the break, after a blistering restart from Chelsea, Kai Havertz scored for the Blues in a fast counter-attack, but again, the goal was disallowed, this time by a touch on the arm of the German player.
After another invalidated goal, Chelsea dropped slightly in performance and Liverpool did not wake up in the second half, as they had done in the initial stage. With that, the final stretch of the match was more lukewarm and the 0-0 remained on the scoreboard in a draw that is not beneficial for any of the clubs that are fighting to climb the table.
