Andrei Michkov died earlier on April 4. His body was found in a pond near the house. The man left the apartment he rented with his son on April 2 at 21:00 Moscow time after the second overtime of the match between SKA and CSKA and stopped communicating.
Andrey Michkov was a scout of the system of Russian national teams. His son, Matvey Michkov, is a SKA player, but this season he plays for Sochi on loan. He is considered one of the favorites for the National Hockey League (NHL) draft in 2023.
