The FHR expressed condolences to the family and friends of Michkov Sr. They drew attention to the fact that the man died under unclear circumstances.
Andrei Michkov died earlier on April 4. His body was found in a pond near the house. The man left the apartment he rents with his son on April 2 at 21:00 Moscow time after the second overtime of the match between SKA and CSKA and stopped communicating.
Andrey Michkov was a scout of the system of Russian national teams. His son, 18-year-old Michkov, is an SKA player, but this season he plays for Sochi on loan. He is considered one of the favorites for the National Hockey League (NHL) draft in 2023.
