Artem Dziuba said that he would not discuss a new contract with Lokomotiv until the end of the season
Lokomotiv striker Artem Dzyuba answered a question about a new contract with the Moscow club. His words are quoted by Match TV.
“I know for sure that now I will not sign or discuss anything with anyone. I have great respect for Lokomotiv, for the team, I am focused only on the game. And what will happen next – we will sit down after the season and see, ”the footballer said. He noted that he is comfortable in the team, so the priority will be to continue his career in it.
Earlier, Dzyuba spoke about his desire to break Alexander Kerzhakov’s record for the number of goals in the history of Russia. “I don’t know about this particular season, but until the end of my career, for sure. It’s a big goal,” he shared.
34-year-old Dziuba moved to Lokomotiv on February 8. As part of the team, he played four matches in the Russian Premier League and scored six goals. The agreement with the Moscow club is valid until the end of the 2022/2023 season.
