RANEPA players denied information about participation in a mass brawl during a match in Moscow
The team of the Russian Academy of National Economy and Public Administration (RANEPA) “Senator” denied information about participation in a mass brawl during a match in Moscow. Details of the incident appeared in the team’s group on VKontakte.
“The incident occurred during the semi-final matches of one of the Moscow football tournaments. The fight took place between three of the four participants in the semi-final games – everyone except our team, ”the message says. It is noted that all the teams participating in the fight received a technical defeat, so the RANEPA players were recognized as the winners of the tournament.
According to the Mutko vs. Telegram channel, students from the Russian Technological University MIREA, Sechenov University and the Russian University of Sports took part in the fight.
Earlier on April 2, the Baza Telegram channel reported on the fight. As it became known, as a result of an incident in which one of the players broke his nose, 16 players were taken to the police station. Three athletes were issued an administrative protocol for petty hooliganism.
