Namestnikov’s assistant double helped Winnipeg beat Detroit in an NHL game
The Winnipeg Jets defeated the Detroit Red Wings in the National Hockey League (NHL) regular season game. This is reported by the correspondent of “Lenta.ru”.
The meeting ended with the score 6:2. The assistant double of the Russian forward Vladislav Namestnikov helped the team to win. In total, the 30-year-old striker has eight points on the “goal plus assist” system in 14 games for the club in the 2022/2023 season.
Namestnikov joined the Winnipeg squad on March 3 during an exchange. The day before, on March 2, he was traded to the San Jose Sharks, who then received a fourth-round pick in the 2025 NHL Entry Draft.
Namestnikov has been playing in the NHL since 2013. He started the 2022/2023 season with the Tampa Bay Lightning. For ten years in the league, the forward played for seven different teams, not counting San Jose, since the Russian did not play a single match as part of this club.
