After Tite left, the vacancy to command the Brazilian Team remains open. Among all the names considered, that of Carlo Ancelotti, coach of Real Madrid, has gained more prominence. This Thursday, former players Denilson and Zé Roberto evaluated the possibility of the Italian taking over the position.
Both former players have experience in the Brazilian national team and have accumulated calls throughout their careers. Zé Roberto, who competed in the world Cups of 1998 and 2006, he evaluated positively the possibility of Ancelotti taking over the team. For him, Brazil needs to meet some other goals to be successful again.
“Brazil needs to regain prominence and be world champion. It needs to discover new talents for Brazilian players to fight again for the title of best player in the world”, said Zé Roberto in an interview with Gazeta Esportiva. “(Ancelotti) won everything he played, he’s at a great club and he’s one of the best coaches in world football today,” he added.
