Moscow “Spartak” did not receive official documents on the charge of attempted murder against the player of the Quincy Promes team. This is how the head of the press service of the red-and-white Dmitry Zelenov reacted to the information about the criminal case against the Dutchman, quoted by Championship.com.
According to the representative of the capital club, the forward is focused on the upcoming matches, and his lawyers, whom he trusts, are engaged in the case. He noted that Spartak will rely only on official data. “According to our information, the usual procedural history continues, which at the moment does not change anything,” Zelenov added.
Promes’ accusation became known earlier on Thursday, November 18. It was reported that the athlete was suspected of stabbing a relative at a party in July 2020.
The Dutchman returned to Spartak in February this year. The striker has scored three goals in nine matches this season of the Russian Premier League (RPL).
