After being speculated in the most diverse top clubs in Europe, the Croatian defender Gvardiol will not be sold by RB Leipzig at the end of this season, according to Sky Sport Germany.
News #Guardiol: Leipzig bosses definitely want to keep him until 2024! They are not considering a sale in summer. We understand that an offer of around €100m wouldn’t change their mind. Many clubs interested: Real Madrid, #CFC, #MCFC, #LFC … @philipphinze24 @SkySportDE 🇭🇷 pic.twitter.com/XrEIqB1Wus

One of the defender’s potential destinations was the Real Madrid, a club that has its eye on the athlete and has already been praised by Gvardiol on a few occasions. In addition to the meringues, the English Manchester City, Manchester United and Liverpool have also appeared in rumors involving the Croatian.
Gvardiol, one of Croatia’s highlights in the last World Cup, has a contract with the German team until 2027. However, RB Leipzig can evaluate the transfer of the 21-year-old player at the end of the 2023-24 season. Even so, even an offer of 100 million euros (R$ 551 million) would “change their mindset” about not selling it this year, still according to the German broadcaster.
