The CBF has not yet defined the dates and times of the games. The first leg will take place between the 11th and 13th of April. The return will take place between the 25th and 27th of the same month.
Fluminense aims at qualifying to pocket R$ 3.3 million. The tricolors want to go far in the competition, in pursuit of the title, which would be the club’s second trophy in the tournament (Flu won the Copa do Brasil in 2007), but also for the award.
The 2023 edition of the Copa do Brasil will have a record prize pool, with BRL 70 million for the champion and BRL 30 million for the runner-up.
