Independiente del Valle, from Ecuador, announced the signing of Marcelo Moreno this Tuesday. The Bolivian striker agreed with the club after terminating with Cerro Portaño, where he had been since last year.
Last Monday night, Conmebol held the draw for the Group Phase and the Ecuadorian team fell into Group E, alongside Corinthians. The key is still completed by Argentinos Juniors, from Argentina, and Liverpool, from Uruguay.

Marcelo Moreno has extensive experience in Brazilian football. He has played for clubs like Victory, Guild e Flamengobut it was in cruise which was highlighted.
The striker had his first spell at Raposa between 2007 and 2008. Then, he returned in 2014, when he won the Brazilian Championship. His third and last time defending the shirt was in 2020, to compete in the Brazilian Championship Series B.
