13 countries have already secured their participation in the next World Cup, so there are only 19 places left.
A new round of qualifying was played in all the confederations of the world, where their teams are still fighting to obtain the places that qualify for the Qatar 2022 World Cup, although there are fewer and fewer that remain.

The European qualifying round ended all its days on this FIFA date, granting ten of the thirteen places that the UEFA confederation has for its teams to participate in the World Cup.

The Central and North American teams played matchday eight this Tuesday and only six remain more dates to know the countries that will stay with the three direct places to the World Cup and the fourth that will go to the playoff.
The most fight is for which team will enter the World Cup directly, by maintaining a large margin of points against teams outside the classification. The first three positions are held by Canada (16 points), the United States (15) and Mexico (14); while the quota for going to playoffs is Panama (14 points). Further down are Costa Rica (9), Jamaica (7) and El Salvador (6). Close the Honduras table (3).

CAF qualifying
The African teams finished their second World Cup qualification phase and the ten countries that will fight for the five places offered by the African Football Confederation have already been known.
In this third phase of the qualifying process they will be Algeria, Tunisia, Nigeria, Cameroon, Mali, Egypt, Ghana, Senegal, Morocco and the Democratic Republic of the Congo.
The ten teams will be paired in five brackets to back-and-forth matches, which will be played on March 21 and 29, 2022. The winners of each match will access the World Cup event.
