Midfielder of the Russian national team and Moscow “Spartak” Roman Zobnin asked the leadership of the red and white to reduce his salary. Journalist Ilya Kazakov wrote about this in his Telegram channel.

According to the source, the footballer justified this by the fact that he receives an undeservedly much. It is noted that the midfielder’s salary, according to media reports, was about three million euros per year, so now he will receive about two million under a three-year contract. At the same time, the press service of Spartak refused to comment on rumors about a new agreement between the club and the midfielder.

Zobnin’s contract with Spartak runs until 2024. The midfielder took part in 16 matches in all tournaments and scored two goals.

In June, the Olympic handball champion Vladlena Bobrovnikova calculated that Zobnin receives 26 million rubles a month. According to the athlete, she will not earn this amount in her entire life.
