On March 24, Bayern officially announced the dismissal of head coach Julian Nagelsmann and the appointment of Tuchel to his post. The contract with the 49-year-old specialist is valid until the end of June 2025.
Tuchel was born in Bavaria. Previously, he led Borussia Dortmund, Paris Saint-Germain, with whom he won the French championship twice, and Chelsea, which won the Champions League under the German in the 2020/2021 season.
