Usyk’s promoter turned to Fury after the fight was canceled

Usyk’s promoter Oleksandr Krasyuk offered Tyson Fury a fight with Wladimir Klitschko

Oleksandr Krasyuk, promoter of Ukrainian boxer Oleksandr Usyk, turned to Briton Tyson Fury after the fight was cancelled. His words are quoted by the Fighting On The Inside YouTube channel.

“There is a great option for Fury to restore his reputation. After all, he still owes revenge to Wladimir Klitschko. Tyson, you’re not afraid of a 47-year-old man, are you? Come on!” Krasyuk suggested.

On March 22, Usyk’s manager Egis Klimas announced the cancellation of the fight between Usyk and Fury. The boxers were supposed to fight on April 29, negotiations for the fight have been going on since the fall of 2022. “No matter how much Usyk compromised, he was still put forward new demands,” he stressed.

Fury has 33 wins, one draw and no losses. He owns the World Boxing Council (WBC) heavyweight championship belt.

Usyk has 20 wins in 20 fights. He holds the World Boxing Organization (WBO), International Boxing Federation (IBF), International Boxing Organization (IBO) and WBA Super heavyweight championship belts.
