Ukrainian footballer Zinchenko said he did not want to remember the time spent in Russia
Defender of the London Arsenal and the national team of Ukraine Oleksandr Zinchenko commented on the time spent in Russia. His words are quoted by the Daily Mail.
The football player said that he was grateful to Ufa, for which he played in 2015, for everything he had done. At the same time, he stressed that he did not want to have any memories of that time. “Honestly, I don’t even want to hear anything about this country,” Zinchenko added.
In January 2023, Zinchenko became the most winning player in the history of the English Premier League (EPL). The player played 88 matches in the national championship, 82 percent of which ended in favor of the Ukrainian team.
The defender began his professional career at Ufa in 2015. He played there until the summer of 2016, after which he moved to the English Manchester City. Together with the “citizens”, the athlete became a four-time champion of England and won the Cup of the country. In July 2023, he moved to London’s Arsenal.
