The club was worried that the Russian players of the team may have problems at home due to the law in force in Russia on a complete ban on LGBT propaganda. It was planned that the players of “Chicago” will come to the reel in sweaters with the image of the rainbow.
Three Russian hockey players play for Chicago: goaltender Anton Khudobin, defender Nikita Zaitsev and forward Pavel Gogolev.
