Usyk’s wife made fun of Fury

Yekaterina Usyk, Oleksandr Usyk’s wife, called Tyson Fury a gypsy queen

Kateryna Usik, wife of Ukrainian heavyweight boxer Oleksandr Usyk, on her Instagram (the social network is banned in the Russian Federation; belongs to the Meta corporation, which is recognized as extremist in Russia and banned) reacted to the disruption of the fight between her husband and Briton Tyson Fury.

The wife of the Ukrainian ridiculed her husband’s rival by posting a collage in which Fury appeared as a woman in a dress. “The Gypsy Queen,” Usyk called the photo, alluding to the nickname of the British Gypsy King. “And finally: being greedy is very bad. All the best is ahead, ”added Usyk’s wife.

On March 22, Usyk’s manager Egis Klimas announced the cancellation of the duel between the Ukrainian and the Briton, which was supposed to take place on April 29 and was negotiated since the fall of 2022. “No matter how much Usyk compromised, he was still put forward new demands,” he stressed.

Fury has 33 wins, one draw and no losses. He owns the World Boxing Council (WBC) heavyweight championship belt.

Usyk has 20 wins in 20 fights. He holds the World Boxing Organization (WBO), International Boxing Federation (IBF), International Boxing Organization (IBO) and WBA Super heavyweight championship belts.
