Fury’s trainer Steward said the Briton will cope with the preparations for the battle with Usyk on April 29
British boxer Tyson Fury’s trainer Sugar-Hill Steward spoke about his preparation for the fight with Ukrainian Oleksandr Usyk. The words of the specialist leads Sky Sports.
“If they agree, if Tyson feels he can prepare for the fight against Usyk by April 29, he will have to train mega-hard for this. There is very little time left,” Steward said. He expressed confidence that Fury has the physical capacity to handle this situation.
Negotiations about the duel between Usyk and Fury have been going on since the fall of 2022. The promoter of the Ukrainian Oleksandr Krasyuk noted that they are being dragged out due to disagreements on remuneration.
Fury has 33 wins, one draw and no losses. He owns the World Boxing Council (WBC) heavyweight championship belt.
Usyk has 20 wins in 20 fights. He holds the World Boxing Organization (WBO), International Boxing Federation (IBF), International Boxing Organization (IBO) and WBA Super heavyweight championship belts.
