RFU thought about deductions of 2 percent of the salaries of football players for the work of sports schools
The Russian Football Union (RFU) has thought about introducing mandatory deductions from the salaries of football players for the work of sports schools. It is reported by “Match TV”.
According to the deputy secretary general of the organization Denis Rogachev, the initiative will be discussed at the next meeting of the RFU executive committee on March 31.
“We will consider the issue in which two percent of the salaries of football players will go to finance sports schools. This is not a one-time payment, it should be throughout the entire career of a football player, ”Rogachev said.
On February 26, Sochi forward Georgy Melkadze responded to those who compare the salaries of football players with those of doctors and firefighters. “Probably, it is necessary not to decrease the money from the players, but to add money to doctors and firefighters,” the player noted.
