Messi arrives in Buenos Aires for a friendly between Argentina and Panama

The captain of the Argentine national team, Lionel Messi, arrived this Monday in Buenos Aires and joined the concentration of the “Albiceleste” for Thursday’s friendly against Panama, at the Monumental de Nuñez stadium, in Buenos Aires.

Messi arrives in Argentina after being booed on Sunday by fans of the Paris Saint Germainin protest for the elimination of the team in the round of 16 of the Europe Champions League.

The coach of the selection, Lionel Scaloni, leads this afternoon the team’s first training session for the game that will be the reunion of the “Albiceleste” with its fans since the title in the 2022 World Cup.

The expectation to review the team made the 63,000 tickets put on sale sell out in just two hours over the internet.

After the friendly against Panama, Argentina will return to the field on the 28th, Tuesday, against the selection of Curaçao, in the province of Santiago del Estero.
