“We all expected Jamal to be fit because he has unique qualities. It’s a shame he can’t be here. We wish him an excellent and speedy recovery and that he can play after the break for national team games ”, lamented Flick.
Formed in the Chelsea academy, Musiala could choose to defend England, as he has dual nationality. However, the athlete decided to defend the country he was born after moving to Bayern. For the German club, the midfielder gained space last season and has been part of the starting lineup.
Germany have yet to announce who will replace Musiala in the friendlies. The team will face Peru on Saturday (25) and Belgium next Tuesday (28). The matches served as a preparation for Euro 2024, in which the country will be responsible for hosting the tournament.
