Flamengo announced, after the 3-1 victory against Vasco this Sunday, that Arrascaeta felt an injury to the left adductor muscle. The club’s medical team will reassess the Uruguayan to determine the severity of the injury.
For the Uruguayan national team, Arrascaeta has already participated in 42 games and scored ten goals and provided six assists. In the last World Cup, the midfielder participated in two games and scored the two winning goals for Uruguay against Ghana in the last round of the group stage.
This season, Arrascaeta played 14 games for Flamengo and scored two goals and two assists.
