The judge of the Association of Traineras Clubs (ACT) has decided to leave Donostiarra without sanction by misalignment that Hondarribia, Bermeo, Lekittarra and Zierbena denounced after the dispute of Flags of Bilbao and Donostia.
The regulations establish that the alignment of a trawler must include three homegrown rowers and the complainant clubs considered that the rower Iker Imazwhich rowed in the two aforementioned regattas, should be classified as own selfand not as homegrownas it competed.
Faced with this situation, the ACT Judge recognizes that Iker Imaz should be considered a rower own self instead of that of homegrownand that the situation stems from an error in the file and history on the Intranet of the competition.
The judge, in his resolution, adds that “said error was made and published in both the Preseason and Season Lists during the year 2022”, without any club requesting any rectification, so “the Kaiarriba Club acted accordingly with List validation”.
In this way, the judge resolved to “correct ex officio and at the request of the interested party the condition of the rower Iker Imaz González”, so that he would be considered a own self. Finally, in his resolution, the Judge gives a “two business day period” to the clubs so that they “formulate the allegations that may correspond to them as injured parties” before his decision.
