“Pass Baloia, Neska”, a plan to promote grassroots and female school football

He Athletic Clubin collaboration with the Provincial Council of Bizkaia and the Biscayan Football Federationhas launched the project “Come in Baloia, Neska” with the aim of “promoting and making visible the structure of women’s grassroots and school football”.
The project was presented this Thursday in San Mamés with the participation of Lorea Bilbaodeputy for Euskera, Culture and Sports; Xabi Arrietadirector of women’s football at Athletic; Lourdes Zorrozua, director of the Biscayan Football Federation; and Gari Fullaondoproject manager.
As they have emphasized in the presentation, this initiative is directed “to the entire social mass of school and federated women’s football in Bizkaia”.
In this way “players, coaching staff, managers of clubs and sports entities, family members and other agents of women’s football will be able to access the tool that will favor the optimization of their sports work”.
For this reason, Athletic is committed to making available to grassroots football clubs and entities “its technical and organizational capital with the aim of providing added value to the practice of this modality in the earliest categories”.
