According to information from the French newspaper The TeamKarim Benzema will renew his contract with Real Madrid which currently ends in June of this year. The 35-year-old athlete’s idea is to play another season for the Spanish team.

According to the French newspaper, Benzema met with president Florentino PĂ©rez and confirmed his stay at the club that is currently vice-leader of the Spanish Championship, with 56 points. The announcement should be made in the “coming days”.
At Real Madrid since 2009, Karim Benzema has played 632 games for the Spanish club, with 341 goals scored and 164 assists. In addition, the Frenchman is one of Real’s most successful players, having won the Champions League and the Club World Cup 5 times, in addition to being four times champion of the UEFA Super Cup, the Spanish Championship and the Spanish Super Cup, and having won the King’s Cup twice.
