Artur Beterbiev announced his readiness to fight Oleksandr Usyk
Russian boxer Artur Beterbiev announced his readiness to fight Ukrainian Oleksandr Usyk. It is reported by “Sport-Express”.
According to the athlete, he would agree to a meeting in the first heavy weight. The Russian added that he does not consider himself an uncomfortable opponent for the Ukrainian. “You have to ask him. I was still left-handed in the amateurs, in my opinion, I ate too much in the youth team. I take them in order. If you box with a left-hander, you should know basic things: how to go by the leg, by the hand, ”said Beterbiev.
On January 29, Beterbiev defeated British Anthony Yarde by technical knockout in the eighth round. He defended three world titles in the light heavyweight category: according to the World Boxing Council (WBC), the International Boxing Federation (IBF) and the World Boxing Organization (WBO). In total, the Russian won 19 victories in his career and did not suffer a single defeat.
Usyk has 20 wins in 20 fights. He holds the WBO, IBF, International Boxing Organization (IBO) and WBA Super heavyweight championship belts.
