Minnesota commented on Kaprizov’s injury

Forward “Minnesota” Foligno said that the team misses the injured Kaprizov

Forward club of the National Hockey League (NHL) “Minnesota Wild” Marcus Foligno commented on the injury of the Russian team forward Kirill Kaprizov. His words are quoted by The Athletic.

Foligno said that the team misses Kaprizov. “But this is what you can see. We have to win and show that we can be a threat without our best player. And when he returns, it will be a good addition,” he said.

Kaprizov was injured on March 9 during a regular season game against the Winnipeg Jets (4:2). The Russian was diagnosed with a lower body injury. The forward will miss three to four weeks.

This season, Kaprizov played 65 games for Minnesota, in which he scored 39 goals and gave 35 assists. The 25-year-old Russian is the team’s top scorer in this championship.

Kaprizov has been playing for Minnesota since 2020. In his debut season, the Russian was recognized as the best newcomer in the NHL.
