With the possible departure of Ramsey, Juventus monitors midfielders Witsel and Zakaria

A Juventus aims to negociar Aaron Ramsey in January and, to reinforce the midfield, the team is already monitoring other names. According to the Italian newspaper The Gazzetta dello Sport, the club observes Alex Witsel, from the Borussia Dortmund, and Denis Zakaria, who plays for Monchengladbach.

According to the publication, the team coached by Massimiliano Allegri considers the two options mentioned as priorities. That’s because they would be more financially viable.

However, despite this, Paul Pogba is at the end of his contract with the Manchester United. His return to Juve has also been speculated in recent weeks.

At 32, the Belgian Witsel has a market value of 9 million euros (BRL 56.2 million), according to the Transfermarkt. This season, he took the field 18 times for Borussia Dortmund.

Zakaria, in turn, is younger: he is 24 years old and has a market value of 27 million euros (BRL 168.4 million). In the current season, the Swiss played 10 matches, scoring two goals and an assist.

With 18 points, Juventus occupies the 8th place in the A league. The team returns to the field on Saturday, at 14:00 (GMT), when they face Lazio away from home. The game is valid for the 13th round of the competition.
