In the series of the first round of the KHL playoffs, the team defeated Salavat Yulaev Ufa with a score of 4-2. The last meeting between the teams took place earlier on March 11 and ended with a score of 3:2. Forwarders Pavel Shen (30th minute), Ivan Yemets (34) and Anton Berlev (58) scored goals for the winners.
The next opponent of “Admiral” will be known after the end of all series of the first round of the playoffs. Omsk “Avangard” has already left the Eastern Conference in the 1/4 finals, Yaroslavl “Locomotive” – from the Western Conference.
Admiral was founded in 2013. The club missed the 2020/2021 season due to financial difficulties. It was noted that the funds provided for the team at the beginning of the year were transferred to the reserve fund of Primorye for measures to combat the spread of coronavirus.
