Azuay, Tungurahua and Imbabura fight to seize the third box in the general classification of the tournament organized by the Ministry of Sports.

Guayas with 51 and Pichincha with 44 gold medals they are the leaders in the general classification of the National Youth Games, Imbabura 2021; while Azuay, Tungurahua e Imbabura they are located distant from the leaders in the table.

La Albiceleste completes 120 medals, of which 51 are gold, 38 silver and 31 bronze; while gold and scarlet complete 44 gold, 48 silver and 61 bronze metals; the podium is completed by the Morlacos with 24-22-20.

In the 59 kilos, Jessica Palacios, from Pichincha, put 80 kilos as his best record in his three attempts at the start; while in the clean and jerk he reached 96 kilos in two starts and when he tried to lift 100 kilos he could not do it. In the Olympic total, the pichinchana reached 176 to hang the gold medal; the silver one was for Carolina Tierra, from Chimborazo, with 172 kilos in total; and Jacqueline calixto, from Carchi, with 162, the bronze was hung.

The tungurahuense Jennifer Becerra she was the winner in the start of the 64 kilograms by putting 77 kg as her best mark in two starts; In the clean and jerk he reached 99 kilos and in the Olympic total he added 176 kilos; the second locker in the division went to Darley Salazar, from Carchi, with 173; and Nayeli Rodriguez, from Santo Domingo de los Tsáchilas, with 167, was third.
