Valentina Shevchenko says she wants an immediate rematch with Alexa Grasso
Kyrgyz mixed martial arts fighter (MMA) Valentina Shevchenko commented on the loss of the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) flyweight belt. Her words are quoted by the official YouTube channel of the UFC.
“This is the sport. You can win all the rounds and then lose stupidly. Want [провести] immediate revenge, because I know that I won this fight, ”Shevchenko said, adding that you need to train more to win. She expressed confidence that in the second fight against Mexican Alexa Grasso there will be a different result.
On March 5, Shevchenko lost to Grasso at UFC 285 in Las Vegas. The Mexican won by submission in the fourth round and won the UFC belt for the first time in her career. Prior to this, the Kyrgyz athlete defended the title of champion of the promotion seven times.
