The UAF demanded an explanation from the technical sponsor Joma because of the form of “Zenith”
The Ukrainian Football Association (UAF) in its Telegram channel demanded an explanation from the technical sponsor, Joma.
The organization wants to know if the Joma central office is involved in the presentation and development of the design of the form of FC Zenit. “And how did it happen that the Joma logo flaunts on the presented form of the Russian team,” the statement says. The UAF also expressed hope to receive a clear answer in the near future.
Zenit presented a new form from Joma on March 3. Previously, the team’s technical sponsor was Nike.
On January 28, the UAF accused Russian clubs of circumventing the bans imposed by the International Football Federation (FIFA) and the Union of European Football Associations (UEFA). The Ukrainian side was outraged by the friendly matches against foreign teams that clubs from Russia hold at the training camp in Turkey.
