Russian forward Vladislav Namestnikov was traded to the NHL for the second time in two days
Russian striker Vladislav Namestnikov was traded in the National Hockey League (NHL) for the second time in two days. It is reported in Twitter journalist Frank Seravalli.
According to the correspondent, the 30-year-old forward became a player of the Winnipeg Jets. The day before, on March 2, he joined the San Jose Sharks, who received a fourth-round pick in the 2025 NHL Entry Draft after this exchange.
Namestnikov has been playing in the NHL since 2013. He started the 2022/2023 season with the Tampa Bay Lightning. For ten years in the league, the forward played for seven different teams, not counting San Jose, since the Russian did not play a single match as part of this club.
On February 26, it was reported that the Dallas Stars and the Montreal Canadiens exchanged Russian players. Montreal acquired 25-year-old striker Denis Guryanov. In exchange for him, the Canadians gave Dallas 33-year-old Yevgeny Dadonov.
