The call of the Deputy Prime Minister of Poland Piotr Glinsky to exclude Russia and Belarus from international sports organizations is a matter of debate. This was announced to Sport24 by TV commentator Dmitry Guberniev.
He recalled that the Pole spoke in favor of increasing international pressure on Russia because of the events taking place in Belarus. Also, the journalist was outraged by the law on the prohibition of abortion, adopted in Poland. “It is possible in response to this to deprive them of their international preferences,” added Guberniev.
Glinsky called for increased pressure from the international community on Moscow and Minsk earlier on Monday, November 15. The Deputy Prime Minister of Poland accused the authorities of Russia and Belarus of the migration crisis on the Polish-Belarusian border.
On November 12, Guberniev reacted to the arrest of a Russian mixed-style fighter Usman Nurmagomedov. He urged to punish the athlete.
