ESPN: Ashraf Hakimi to continue playing at PSG despite rape allegations
The fate of performances in Paris Saint-Germain by Moroccan footballer Ashraf Hakimi, accused of rape, has become known. It is reported by ESPN.
According to the publication, the defender will be able to continue to play for the club, since he has not yet been formally charged. It is specified, however, that the prosecutor’s office has already begun an investigation.
On February 28, Le Parisien reported that a 24-year-old girl, who was not named, claimed to have been sexually assaulted by Hakimi. It was noted that the player’s entourage denies the fact of harassment.
Hakimi has been playing for PSG since 2021. He also played for Real Madrid, Borussia Dortmund and Inter. The football player became the winner of the Champions League-2018, the champion of Italy (2021) and France (2022). In addition, Hakimi is a defender of the Moroccan national team.
