The tricolor Emiliano Riofrío, Diego Piguave and Rodrigo Tapia remained in the round of 32 of the Peruvian tournament.
The microteen player Ecuadorian Alberto Miño is played today, at 19:00 in Ecuador, its passage to the semifinals of the Pan American Table Tennis Championship, which takes place in Lima and where three tricolor were eliminated in the round of 32.
Miño, who in November 2013 was signed by the Bayard Argentan club to participate in the French table tennis league, went straight to the round of 32, where he had to face the Colombian Julian Ramos, which he ran over on the table by defeating him 4-0 with partial scores 11-8, 11-7, 11-4 and 11-5.
In the round of 16, Miño applied all the experience gained in the German league, where he currently plays for the TTC Zugbrücke Grenzau club, and was also superior to the Argentine Gastón Alto, which he beat 4-1 with scores 11-9, 11-5, 11-7, 3-11 and 11-7.
According to the competition program, in the quarterfinals, the Ecuadorian team has to face the Brazilian Victor Ishiy, located in position 62 of the ranking Latin American, with 2,826 points; while the national team is installed in position 80, with 2,596 units.

In other participations of the Ecuadorian selected, Emiliano Riofrío began in the first round with victory by winning 4-0, with partials 11-8, 11-5, 11-7 and 12-10, at Peruvian Adrián Rubinos. He stayed in the round of 32 when he fell 1-4 to the Argentine Santiago Lorenzo, who defeated him 11-4, 11-7, 7-11, 11-6 and 11-6.
Diego Piguave, also from Ecuador, remained in the second round when he was eliminated by the Puerto Rican Brian Afanador, who won 4-0, with a score of 11-9, 11-9, 11-4 and 11-8.
Rodrigo tapia He also left the competition and in his match for the round of 32 against Puerto Rican Daniel González lost 4-0, with numbers 15-13, 15-13, 11-8 and 11-9.
The competition will end on November 19 and Ecuador did not present a women’s team; while in men they must compete in men’s and team doubles. (D)
