NHL clubs exchanged Russian players

The NHL club “Dallas” exchanged the hockey player Guryanov to “Montreal” and received Dadonov

Clubs of the National Hockey League (NHL) “Dallas Stars” and “Montreal Canadiens” exchanged Russian players. This was reported on the website of the Canadian team.

Montreal General Manager Kent Hughes announced that the team has acquired 25-year-old forward Denis Guryanov. In exchange for him, the team gave Dallas 33-year-old Yevgeny Dadonov. As a result of the deal, the Canadian club will keep 50 percent of the Russian’s salary until the end of the current season.

Dadonov in the 2022/2023 season played 50 meetings for Montreal, in which he scored four goals and gave 14 assists. He previously played for the Vegas Golden Knights, Ottawa Senators, and Florida Panthers.

Guryanov has played 43 games in the current championship, in which he scored two goals and seven assists. He has been with Dallas since 2016.

Dallas is second in the NHL Western Conference standings. Montreal is 15th in the Eastern Conference table.
