Barcelona SC, the team with the most titles in the history of the national championship (16), will make their LigaPro 2023 debut this Saturday, February 25, away to Gualace, a team they could not beat in the first matches of last season.
In the LigaPro 2022 season, the Azuayan club surprised with victories over the Canary Islands, both at home and away.
On April 20, the Toreadors were surprised (0-1) at the Monumental Banco de Pichincha Stadium; and in the return match, on September 3, Gualaceo won 2-1 in Sierra.
“There is no invincible team. We have seen the Champions Cup matches: Barcelona has a lot of creativity, speed, but there are also problems; that’s why they conceded goals. He suffered in all the friendly matches,” said Leonardo Vanegas, Azuayos’ coach. (D)
