American fighter Tony Ferguson demanded half a million dollars from Khabib Nurmagomedov
American mixed martial arts (MMA) fighter Tony Ferguson demanded payments from the former champion of the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) Khabib Nurmagomedov. He dedicated a post to this Twitter.
“You are still mine, Khabib! You and [менеджер Али] Abdelaziz owes me half a million dollars. I’ll cut that money off your heads for what you did to me wrong. I don’t like killing people, but I’ll make an exception for you,” Ferguson wrote.
On May 20, Ferguson called Nurmagomedov the greatest real fight avoider. “I am ready to take part in The Ultimate Fighter, to become a trainer-opponent of a fat man. But I’m sure he won’t come, ”the American wrote, recalling the repeated failures of their fights.
Ferguson and Nurmagomedov could meet five times as part of a fight in the UFC lightweight division, but their fights fell through. The Russian retired after the third defense of the organization’s title in 2020.
